Hayam Nur as Sufi is an italian recording artist, vocalist, lyricist, language teacher, radio and tv presenter now residing in Sweden who recently embraced Islam.

MUSIC CAREER
Formerly known as Deadly Kristin (DK), she has been a prominent personality in the rock world since the early 90's starting her musical career in Italy and Switzerland singing for a number of local metal and gothic bands as lead singer.

In 1997 after meeting Aphazel of the legendary black metal band Ancient (Metal Blade Records) she joined the band taking over female vocals. With Ancient she recorded 3 albums for Metal Blade records and a music video called "God loves the dead".

Ancient did many international extensive tours, several tv and radio appearances and performed at the famous Wacken festival in Germany in front of an audience of about 60.000 people. The cooperation with Ancient lasted until 2004 when Hayam moved to Sweden and had to part ways with the band due to practical reasons.

Despite this separation DK and Aphazel of Ancient released in 2005 the debut album of the classical/ambient/gothic band Dreamlike Horror, which years before they had founded together. The album called "Delightful Suicides" came out for Sleaszy Rider Records, the best indie label in Greece for rock music.

TV AND RADIO CAREER

In 2002 DK was noticed at a rock festival by Mario Riso of Rock TV, head of the biggest digital TV channel in Italy, based in Milan. She worked there as Tv host for about a year and half, hosting three programs such as "Morning Glory", where she was presenting music videos and reading texts and emails sent from people at home,, "Data base" a 2 hour live program in the studio with international bands and music videos and finally "On the Road" featuring concerts and interviews to international artists on tour.

In Sweden, since 2006 DK Hayam can be heard on swedish Radio P4 on the frequencies of Radio Västernorrland, every friday morning from 8.15 to 9.00 am for a talk show animated with lively debates and with new singles from the international music scene.
